"backpanel-inna-box" ?

EM, NEMA, whatever - if it controls a traffic signal, you can talk about it here.

My custom NEMA cabinet only has 4 switches right now:
1. Master (breaks HOT between wall and the rest of the cabinet)
2. Controller (breaks HOT to the controller from the Master switch)
3. Signals (110v HOT to the load switches for the signal heads)
4. Cabinet light

I originally had one of the switches slated to go to flash, but I don't have any of the parts necessary to do flash yet, so all of the flash stuff is in the future. My controller has soft flash, so it flashes everything that way for now.

There is a NEMA flasher that is similar to the load switch you can get, and that's next on my list. Manual/Auto control switch is also on the list.

I don't have a mercury contactor or anything either, right now it's just plain jane simple. Not even a relay to be seen.

QUICK UPDATE -- the last couple days at work have been sorta slow. While this might not be the best thing for "business"  nonetheless it has allowed the opportunity to get some good work done on this latest little "personal project"... (and I just love it when that happens...!) :Wink2: :Wink2:

But ANYWAYS -- I've managed to get my front panel pretty much finished, ready to wire up and assemble to the tray -- and (for what its worth  ) it's turning out way better than I think I would have ever expected...?!!

I've got brackets made to hold the panel to the tray, one of which will also hold a mercury contactor inside. (because I have one. also room for a flasher relay if I decide I need one of those too, but so far I think I can do without...?) Obviously there's still a good bit of wiring to do, not to mention the ongoing discovery process of finding out if my GammaTronix controller has (or has not) the same actual functions of the "basic NEMA A-cable" pinout...
then there'd be my one other GammaTronix which uses the NEMA plugset...I don't gots any more NEMA controllers to play with...?

OH, WELL -- thought y'all might enjoy the progress report. Stay tuned, more to come, unless I manage to electrocute myself or burn the house down in the meantime... :fright: :panic: :tease:
