Photobucket problem

Postby gwlreno on Mon Jul 08, 2013 8:19 am

Good morning all,

When I attempt to upload photos, I get a "computer screen" for each photo the shows the rotating thingy that implies that the upload is in progress. However, no matter how long I wait (I let it run all night) the status bar never moves and the photos never upload. I am using Internet Explorer 9 on my windows computer.

I haven't uploaded any photos for the last few months, but in the past I never had this problem.

Thanks for any help you can give.
I'm so old I remember when the word "mother" only had one meaning!!!

Which option for uploading are you using? Yesterday I used the option of just uploading a pic individually with no problems....click and then go to the folder within your computer to where the pic is that you want to upload to Photobucket. Have you tried doing it this way?

Also make sure you have the latest java updates for your computer. http://www.java.com
A cop pulled me over and said, "Papers..." So I replied, "Scissors! I win!" and drove off.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it still doesn't work even with the latest Java update. I'm sure it has to do with this computer. I was able to upload the pix using my wife's notebook with no problem.

Go figure...
