ATS pedestrian signal cleaning & restoration

This is my first restoration project on a 1986 Aldridge pedestrian signal that was saved from a pedestrian crossing on Kesters Rd, Para Hills West. When I opened it, It was dirty, dusty & had cobwebs inside! The top reflector frame was brittle with age & broke in one place. With a damp cloth, I cleaned off the worse of the dirt.
BTW, I currently don't have Flicker Pro membership yet. So when my upload limit gets reset at the end of this month, I'll post the pics! Watch this space!

Front & back before dismantling:
It was dusty inside!
Dismantling for cleaning!
Top reflector & seal after cleaning. The reflector seal was brittle with age, so I dunno where I could get replacement seals from other than the Walkley Heights depot!
The top reflector frame was broken in one spot.
That's all for now!

looks like you have a couple of signals in your collection you are working on!

The bottom aspect had a broken reflector frame. So from now on, I've got a single ATS aspect wired up by an expert!
Here it is in my room, in the dark with a glass Siemens lens!
And with an Eagle lens!
With arrow mask.
I even put a modern Aldridge lens/mask/frame/visor assembly in front!
And the original ATS red lens & 'waiting man' mask!

The Eagle Poly lens is/was the standard poly lens for Alusig - Durasig and Mark IV!!!!

Been to Bunnings today & bought a 25w oven globe! It's much cooler and dimmer than a conventional, larger one!

That looks terrific! Boy, the Australian WALK & DON'T WALK man is sure a lot more buffed out then the American one!

And the icing on the cake is, if you use a larger bulb with a higher wattage for prolonged periods, this will happen!

That happened to me with an 8" green arrow lens. I put a 12" actual traffic light bulb in it and it sat there and melted it. I want to get the glass one.
