Easy, it sounds like you have everything figured out!!

I'd still like to know why some of them had the bell, and some didn't?? One might think that the newer ones had the bell, to correct a design flaw perhaps?? The one that I purchased had a bunch of putty and electrical tape instead of the bell, both served the same purpose.

I'm pretty sure that the bell was designed to keep the water/moisture out of the signal, but I could be wrong. If so that would mean that the signals with the bell are newer. Can anyone clear this up?

I have a bell without a hanger. Don't mean to hijack a thread, but if anyone has an extra hanger, please let me know.

Yes Plastic lenses count! Especially in Darleys there the older acrylic

The bells are the oldest and of course Im in the no bell club. Harringtons had Bells and Darley Continued with them. Then they did away with the bell and left the long pipe then the newer ones they did away with the pipe and usually have acryllic lenses in them

I guess I'm in The Bell Club too! The only problem is my bell isn't attached to my Darley....yet. :Phil:

I was going to post this picture so you could see what the bell looked like Easy, but it sounds like you already got it apart. :good:

Jay,

That's a large bead smiley, that was the only lens that came with the light.
