Interesting thing is that in Pikeville, KY, I remembered a long stretch of US 23 had ALL signals with yellow backplate with retroreflective around the backplate to give extra visibility. I think it's good idea for backplate to be colored yellow here in USA so it'd enhance more attention to it.
