Hello from Gatineau

Hello there. I don't have a collection, but would want one. Ultimately, I have a question. Which company manufactures traffic lights typically found in Québec (black housing, horizontal, usually with red light on both sides)?

Hello, BrettQC. Welcome to the forums.

I believe I may know what you are referring to. I'm sure that it shares square, circular, and diamond shaped signal indications. Am I right? *******************************************EDIT**********************************************************

If I were to guess the company, I would say Fortran. Although I am sure some Canadian members here could chip in.

A picture or a few pictures of the signal in question would make it easier to answer your question. Close ups of the backside if possible would be a big help.

I believe that the signal was manufactured by GE.

:welcome: :hello: :welcome:
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.

Welcome from Philadelphia! I am a huge fan of both the traffic signals and road signs (am a sucker for those French signs; just look at my avatar) of Quebec. I hope to get up to Montreal later on this summer.

No closeups, but this is about the best I have:

The signal is enclosed in a case, which is attached to the truss arm. I would also be willing to know where I could get my hands on one of these, especially the older ones with the shaped lenses, which Steven mentioned.
