Abandoned Signals?

Postby 3Mfanatic on Thu Jul 26, 2012 2:39 am

I stumbled upon this disused crosswalk signal in Davenport, Iowa last summer and it kind of got me to wondering, how many abandoned signals have you seen?

Wide view

Signal pole one, with ped signal still attached

Pole number two - It looks like the button is still attached here.

Up where I am there is very little abandoned traffic signals, but I know of several abandoned railroad crossing signals that continue to stand over tracks that haven't seen a train in years. In fact, the line dead ends in town.
