Need help w/ CH type LS controller

Postby smokinh05 on Tue May 21, 2013 8:30 pm

Hey Gang-- I just recently purchased a CH type LS controller from Jay and have been diving into seeing how it works and hopefully getting it up and going. Unfortunately I am a complete newbie to the EM controller world. However im fairly mechanically minded so im uf for the challenge. I looked around to try and find more info and my searches have been pretty unfruitful. There is very little info on the LS controllers for some reason. I did find an advertisement for one in the archives, but it doesnt give much technical info. I have been trying to trace wires and figure out how it works, but in between faded wiring colors and the wiring harness looms im pretty stumped. Im tempted to just power it up, but knowing my luck it would short circuit, and i couldnt imagine trying to find parts. The controller looks fairly complete and unbastardized, and appears to be fresh out of service. Its just missing the jones plug, which ive sourced a couple of female connectors cheap, and ill just make my own. Jay gave me a quick run thru on how it works, but I would really like to try and find some good wiring diagrams etc...If anybody has any documents that shows any wiring diagrams or service books, it would be greatly appreciated!!! :beg: Thanks!!!
