All I ever use is the Harbor Freight HVLP gun or the "Three for $99" set like Drew has.

I've used that same Safety Yellow for my Tokheim and I've used Deere/Ford Yellow on a Deco Ped. IMO the yellow yellows are more correct for older signals. It seems the signals got more orangey when companies started painting to Federal Spec colors...the common yellow-orange, green, and black signals are typically sold in today. There's a distinct color difference between Breadpan/Decos and Winkomatics, etc.

Took another month but I finally put everything together on the DT yesterday! I'm very happy with the results and for a first restore I don't think it was to shabby. Learned a few things in the process and will be applying them on the next restore.

And here are the finished results!

Simply beautiful...great paint job!!!!!

Makes me want to restore another signal soon - as soon as I put some other projects to rest first.
A cop pulled me over and said, "Papers..." So I replied, "Scissors! I win!" and drove off.
