Finished my garage layout

Econo Short-Grooves - CH Art Deco - Alusig - 3M - Checker

The Alusig's current place is temporary, it's on hold until I can make it a complete 3-section signal. The 3M is a bit worrying because of its weight, but I think it will be fine if I don't move it too much. The Marbelite 12-8-8 will go where the Alusig is once I finish painting it, and I'd like the Alusig to go between the 3M and Checker if it becomes a 12-12-12. The Econos will be repainted when the time comes. And, of course, I'll add the controller and wiring once I find a cabinet to hold it in. Other than that, it's more or less done.

Nice!

Single-section bi-modal arrow?
No yellow arrow for your 3M?

Tsk tsk. :Wink2:

Nice stuff.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of controller will control the entire show?

I can imagine I'm in the same boat as many people here, I want to get more but the women in my house don't want me to get more.

Heh, I haven't changed the bimodal arrow in the Alusig since the last layout, good idea though. The 3M is set up like the one in the masking tutorial video, only with the arrow 'up'. I like the resemblence.

My Arduino board and the solid state relay boards. I'm looking for an old wood bathroom/medicine cabinet to mount all of the boards and terminal strips in to keep them relatively protected from dust and whatever rodents make their way into the garage. I'm on the fence on whether to make all of the lights cycle individually or as one intersection, though. From what I've seen and figured, individual cycles shift focus towards the lights as seperate signals, but while intersection cycles are more interesting, they seem to shift focus onto all of the lights as a whole, not as individual signals. I'll probably just go with an intersection cycle though.
