I replaced my door gaskets with 1/4 inch rope from Mc Master Carr. I've run into the rubber type gaskets but never sought to replace that look. I've been in search for the correct door gasket replacment from the gate :rob: . I haven't come accross any in my travels.
Wait, am I talking about the right gasket, what's a Traffic Signals Inc door gasket

O ok, I thought I was drifting off.
Yea, I guess any type 1/4 inch rope will work really. A hardware store or home supply store should have rope. You just have to bring in the old gasket and pick the closest match. If ya get a match let me know cause all mine need a better match than what I have, or what I'm using as door gaskets now. Just seems the original gaskets had a tighter weave in the rope, I can't find that today.
Ya know how there's the pool noodles, those long foam things you float around on in the pool. I bet you could get away with 1/4 inch pool noodles as gaskets

I ended up using brown colored half round rubber weather stripping. Not a perfect match but it worked.
