Just a passing thought, but when did they ever install smooth rim commands in type T's?
Just because one or even a set is found in a type T, or just because the rim might be dated 2-2-15, doesn't make it so. They didn't even have 8" traffic lights in '15. It's just a date stamp for a mold which was carried over for decades. The same stamp can be found on cross hatch lenses as well but the earliest literature I've seen on those in a light was Horni in the 40's.
Maybe we need to do a separate page on early CH lenses.
