What does the back of the GO have on it. It looks like T era or could be DT era. Im going with early T

Just a passing thought, but when did they ever install smooth rim commands in type T's?
Just because one or even a set is found in a type T, or just because the rim might be dated 2-2-15, doesn't make it so. They didn't even have 8" traffic lights in '15. It's just a date stamp for a mold which was carried over for decades. The same stamp can be found on cross hatch lenses as well but the earliest literature I've seen on those in a light was Horni in the 40's.

Maybe we need to do a separate page on early CH lenses. :thumbsup:

Lens reads, "CORNING REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. 8 3 8 CVX. DIFUSSING RDL. -GO- PAT. 2-2-15.

If it turns out you need tie rods, let me know, as I have a bunch of NOS tie rods that were made by Marbelite. I'm not completely sure how well they fit in a CH, though, but they are unused.

The early T's had no lense tabs. There is raised and raised outline. There is another version with the GO that looks like cracked glass. All the DT commands I have found dont have the date and there a smooth rim

Well it took a while but I finished this light today. It will be mounted on a post with a cast iron, octagonal base and topped off with a finial. It will be loaned to a local museum for a year or so starting next weekend. I dropped the base/pole off at the Museum today so I wasn't able to get a photo of the full set up. I would like to thank all of the members of this forum for their knowledge and assistance. Several members helped out with parts including John(Old-Timer), Bill(NovinskiB), Gordon(gwlreno), Mike(coyttl), Tim B.(BigTbird1974) and I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.
