Westphalia, MI 4-way?

Postby autoflow11 on Sun Jul 28, 2013 12:58 am

Has anyone here ever investigated the 4-way beacon in Westphalia, MI? In a state full of dual yellow polys, this is a great 4-way example painted deep green and hanging singly from a graceful span wire.

Here's a streetview of it: http://goo.gl/maps/N5OZC

Has anyone ever visited to take a closer look or get some good photos/documentation?

With Michigan putting up beacons in pairs now, I thought I'd mention, at this writing, there's still a single beacon light at the intersection of M-37 and old M-42 about a mile or so northeast of Mesick.
