That one makes perfect sense... No trucks straight, all trucks must go left

I know, I just find the contrast funny... like this one

I feel like I've been posting too much lately, and sorry if thats true. But might as well do one more.
I know it's not all that uncommon, but what's the point of the yellow being 8" instead of 12"? Is it just for the little bit of gained clearance?

Could be to help limit the side splash of the brighter yellow, although tunnel visors are practically made for that reason

Hexagon-shaped LEDs in Colonial Williamsburg

Sorry, there are no good views of them.
If you see them in person, they do succeed in making the signals look more 'colonial'

Not often that I see sideways signals hung on a span wire these days, especially ones without backgrounds!

I am a railfan, signalfan, and I'm interested in tornado sirens. I hope to learn new things about traffic lights because I'm interested in them and don't know much about them.

I thought this was interesting. I see plenty of these "blind pedestrian" signs, but this one actually has beacons... how many blind people crossing the street do there have to be to need beacons on the sign?
There are run by a working mechanical controller, and it looks like they are on 24/7. The sets are about a block from each other.
