Open Range

Hiya Folks,

While travelling a couple of weeks ago from Vail, Co. to Utah's Arches National Park, we saw a bunch of these type of signs on the somewhat desolate and barren highways.

While on that portion of our journey, we did not see any cattle but did notice the signs are used for target practice.

Cheers!

Keith,

We've got those all over the place here in Nevada. And indeed there really are lots of cows, wild horses, coyotes, badgers etc. who all think they own the road and we should stop for them.
I'm so old I remember when the word "mother" only had one meaning!!!

Open range means no fences...

Just watch out for the "Cattle Guards" in the road...
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.
