Hey Francis, The next time EdT. is over your way, just have him remove your finial, post a pic of it, and then I can quit bugging Randy T. to start a resto on of some of his...

Apparently and as usual, I thought wrong - again. Therefore, please let me ask my question differently. Does anyone here know of anyone who has successfully removed a Ruleta finial? If so and if you could tell me who that person is, then perhaps I can get my question answered by talking to that person and I wouldn't need to see a picture. Thanks!

I have a box that contains not only a naked acorn Ruleta finial but a couple of spare visors, latch eye bolts, wingnuts and some other Ruleta bits.
Would it upset you terribly to hear that I have misplaced aforementioned box?

I have mounted two separate search and rescue missions for it with negative results. :rob:

I will try again tomorrow! :beg:

Perhaps you should look in the bottom of your pool that you keep covered to keep the wayward ducks out. I have always strongly suspected that you hoard as much or more than Randy T. does. I can only hope you 2 give Francis the occasional break on parts. :Wink2: That said, it did take me looking through all my AGA lenses to find the Ruleta lens that I thought I had.

 *I* have never had to build an outbuilding to stash my stuff in. Though I wish I had as much good stuff to stash as Randy...

That's right. Keep creating this mythology around me about having warehouses of super rare signal parts. I'll have to change my name and move to another country to dodge phone calls.

To hear EdT. tell it, you've been in the witness protection program for years now and are about due for yet another new identity for exactly that reason. I guess crime does pay when you're in the signal racket and as for a case in point, why don't you share pics of your latest and greatest conquest, the one that made me  just yesterday. A very special CONGRATS is due on that one Randy T. - or whatever your name really is :clapping:
