New guy here from NC

Where to start?

My name is Joe. I live in Knotts Island, NC. I am new to this traffic light kind of thing.

I am a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer. I have lots of interests including anything mechanical, woodworking, home improvements and more. I ride an off road motorcycle and race in the Virginia Championship Hare Scrambles Series. Lots of fun.

I bought an old Crouse Hinds traffic light. From what I am reading, it is a 1955-1959ish DT. I bought it from an auction held at a nightclub that was going under. It was used on the dancefloor, but it was trashed. Old cloth wiring and Bakelite bulb sockets that would fall apart if you looked at them wrong.

I am currently doing a refurb including a new paint job, light sequencer, and wiring. This should be fun!

That's about it.

Then you are a person who can do most anything and can fix everything. For the rare item you can't immediately fix, you have the proper skills to comshaw a replacement item.

Welcome Joe.

Greetings from New Jersey, Joe.

Do you have pictures of what your traffic signal looks like?
