Very nice. There was no data plate on it? Why do you say it's from the 50s? The latest Novaluxes were from the 30s, no? Or was this an export thing?

Unfortunately this traffic light has not a data plate. In Italy, in the 30's, traffic lights was very rare, and generally had a 4-sided . I think that they are produced by the CGE in the '50s because I've seen them in photographs of those years. I am sure that, above the red, there was a spear point that I'd find, but it is very difficult. If anyone has more precise information on this type of traffic lights, I'd write that here!

That is a wonderful signal and fabulous restoration. It surely raises a lot of questions! I hope someone can connect the dots. Thanks for sharing.

I believe that the Italian brand "CGE" is corrisponding to brand GE ( General Electric ) in U.S.A.: what do you think of this ?

( Thanks for the compliments! :good: )

CGE is probably Canadian General Electric. I would say it is 30's. It may have been one of the only lights at the time or it was donated after the war
