from 7th & Grand to the indoor intersection

Well I am down to the nitty gritty on the D 4 way restoration that was once in the center of GJ. The reassembly took a little longer since the powdercoater applied the process a little thick to some of the parts and threads. I am down to 3 doors but I had to back away from the ladder for a bit.

Photobucket is being a pain right now so I will try again once I get a couple more completed pics but the link to the album should work for now hopefully :rob:

Good photos Steve of the D 4-way! Hoping our light comes out looking good like yours.

Cheers!

Looks SUPER Steve!

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've driven under that signal!
I'm so old I remember when the word "mother" only had one meaning!!!

Well I think I have photobucket figured out and the pics rotated properly... lets check

I had to install a box to hang the signal at a height where I could avoid a concussion :dizzy: so this is what I came up with Image

I hated to walk away from it this close to completion but I just had to back away from it. I hope to have it completed tonight and more pics soon :good:

You not only did a GREAT job on the restoration but know where the light came from. That's fantastic. I personally think that the history of the light can be as interesting as the light itself. Nice work...

VERY nice work, I like your ceiling solution too! Good thing too, I remember the many head hazards your garage has... :Phil:

Now I just have to figure out a way to get his other 4-way out of his cold dead hands willing and open hands...just have to find something else that he can't live without!

Let me know if you have more spare parts from that DT, I'm trying to build a beacon myself but most of the parts I have are damaged and I'm still missing a few!
