So they extended the show from 02/01 to 03/13? Hope it is going well. I may be able to catch part of it in the beginning of March. ;)

I have 1/32 scale and quickly relized there's not enough money in the world to have a decent set with scenery  1st off you need a large warehouse, time, and money in order to move to the next step. I put my toes in the hobby and ran for the hills when I realized or watched my bank account drop. I mean, I have an oval track 24' that I set up around the Christmas tree with 2 switches an engine and about 8 cars and I'm in it $1700.00 :Phil:
I must admit I love it. On the slowest setting it takes the train 11 minutes and 35 seconds to go around 24' and 11 seconds on the fastest setting. It'll creep around the track slow and steady.
I've heard there's no end to the signal hobby but scale model trains is something all together different. I've been to the Greenburg train show and did enjoy myself. If I ever win the lottery I'd absolutely dive in with the 7'' track. A live steam Bigboy I can ride and several cars to pull people. I've read the cars alone that fit 7'' track are about $5k a piece  I wonder how much a live steam Bigboy would cost to fit a 7" track? Does anyone know just for kicks and giggles?

I'm into 1:1 scale.

It's even MORE expensive.
