I am going to attempt to post some photos of the street lighting I have installed on the property. This is my first posting, thanks in advance for your patience.

These are salvaged lights from baltimore. I believe they were originally gas fixtures. I got them as a set. The acorn lenses are not original and were aquired later.

The old series circuit lights in town were 10 foot with an acorn globe. Some people asked if they could have them but soon found that concrete weighs a ton. We have the same style in cast iron, still weigh a ton. I think that there is only 7 or 8 left in town that still are on series lighting circuits. We have quite a few that have been converted to 240VAC sodium.

This is a welsbach #36 gas street light. All original except for the aluminum gas vent on the top. That is a 50's era part. This one is wired for electric because I didn't have any original burner assemblies at the time of installation. More photos to follow

Very cool collection, thanks for sharing!

I hope to find something very similar to this one of yours or Easy's (full thread here) some day, but it's mighty slim pickings in this neck of the woods...

Here are some additional electric street light poles. You can see the two stamped steel poles in the background of the first image. The other photos show a cast pole. The stamped steel are from the loyola in baltimore. The other is baltimore as well but I don't know where it was last in service.

This is a typical GE Novalux electric fixture. I like this early model because it has the adapter that allows it to be mounted to the smaller diameter gaslight poles. These were made during the transition from gas to electric in the city. I have two of these only one is shown here.

This is a Novalux as well but without the adapter. More photos to follow.
