Winter project: NEMA Briefcase Tester

Postby Macsignals on Tue Nov 27, 2012 7:16 pm

A few years in the making, I'm going to start building a briefcase tester for my (and other) NEMA setups. As of now it looks like the only parts I will have to buy are the switches and the resistors for it, and I have to see what I have lying around to cut down on that tab. It will either have a sheet metal or 1/4" plywood panel. Here's some preliminary pics...:

The case:

As the one pic's description says, LED Christmas light sets are great for parts!

I'm going to build this in conjunction with two more breakout boxes/panels, one to go along with the tester (for running a controller and signals on the go [read: OSM]), and one for the signals in my bedroom. More to come as I get the time and $$$$ to build it all.
