The Garage Intersection

Postby 3Mfanatic on Fri May 31, 2013 4:28 am

Nick has the basement, Ryan in California has the loft above the garage and I have the garage itself. :Wink2:

Here is my display in action as it sits right now. I'm hoping to locate a proper EF-20 cabinet for the poor thing so it no longer has to be homeless and it'll actually look proper. I can then add a flasher unit for flash mode and ped clearances which will allow me to throw the Econolite ped into the mix.

The DT and 12/8/8 are 'Main Street' and the 3M and TCT are 'Cross Street'. Enjoy! :hello:

Why is the Singer/Type R shorter than the rest? Neat set-up!

How hard is it to find Singer traffic lights? I can name several intersections that have at least on Singer traffic light including some intersections that have all Singer traffic lights and/or at least one Singer doghouse traffic light. ;)
I will admit that they are going down in number though.
I am a railfan, signalfan, and I'm interested in tornado sirens. I hope to learn new things about traffic lights because I'm interested in them and don't know much about them.

I happened upon a two way cluster of Singer 12-8-8s for sale recently (which I purchased :Wink2: ), and I know they're from somewhere here in Colorado, but I don't know where.

That pole originally held a 4-section TCT poly and it was only after fitting it that I realized polys don't like being supported from the bottom. I've got a slightly longer pole section I can add to that and make it taller but I'm going to wait until I do my color-coded rewiring project this summer.
