Got the Eagle off the stool, and on the ceiling  where it belongs.

I also mounted the Marbelite M15 and Crouse Hinds PCN 100 on the wall next to the existing Econolite type F.

The marbelite is dedicated to the eagle 4-way, (and future 4-ways) and the Econolite run's everything else in the garage for now. I have plan's for the CH controller for nothing but CH signals as I restore them.

No need for a hard hat Jerry, :rotfl: :rotfl: the ceiling is 10'

A few more pic's.

With my latest purchase of an Eagle 4-way signal that is in very bad condition, I was able to find a new base for this signal that had the flange cut off at some point in it's life. Stay tuned, more pic's to come.

Not only will the signal have a new base with a flange, it will also have a somewhat rare access door on the bottom. Thanks to a member for supplying the blank door needed to complete this project. :hello: :hello:

Seeing the signal all lit up leaves me in awe! It's looks beautiful!! :good:
A cop pulled me over and said, "Papers..." So I replied, "Scissors! I win!" and drove off.

The new base has been painted and installed, when I get the blank door, the signal should be complete. This base looks a little strange to me, but the light now has the flange/flare on the bottom that was missing before.

Got the blank door in the mail this week from another member, (thank you, :hello: I'll let you reveal yourself if you want) it's been stripped, primed, and painted, waiting on the paint to dry. This is going to look very nice on the signal!!

Looks great Mark!

I'm curious, have you (or anyone else, for that matter) had any trouble with spray paint finishes being unnecessarily brittle? I painted a bunch of hardware and my Econolite cabinet a few weeks ago, and the paint stays on by itself, but if I so much as bump it with a hard object the wrong way, the paint comes right off. The primer generally stays intact, but the paint does not. I'm just curious if this is the nature of spray paint finishes (I have only done a couple so far), or if I'm doing something wrong. I know I could put clear coat on there, but I don't want the extra "shine", and I'd rather the paint weather naturally if possible.

Rustoleum has matte clear coats, if that helps
