Has anyone ever heard of one of these lights? Are they sought after?

Thanks,

Dave

They have been discussed here a number of times. Just do a search in "Plessey" and you'll get about 22 pages of posts with the term.

Never heard of them.

..really.

No, I'm serious.

I HAVE heard of the Tin Plessy, tho. It's kinda like a Dalek - it exterminates your fun-money account. :rotfl:

Thanks, I know a guy that's selling one with a STOP command lens. I was hoping to pull it for my Darley but the lens is only 8" in diameter. He was going to let it go for $400 shipped. If anyone is interested I'll pass the info.

400.00 shipped is a bit much for a Plessey IMO. The last I bought on ebay was only 125.00 shipped. The stop lens is cracked though, but still.....

If it's just the lenses you were after, these were listed last week on UK eBay. It might be worth contacting the seller - there were two sets available from what I can remember. I didn't bid on them as if you're lucky, you can often find the signal heads for less than the starting price when they do appear - mainly because no one seems to know what they are!
