That is a bad Idea in my opionion. When you have a switch pack or a monitor go bad you can switch it out. If it is all contained your just asking for trouble.

Yeah I agree with ya there. They're neat but from a real world aspect it could be a huge pain when one part fails and all the load switch/monitor/detector components are intertwined on a few circuitboards inside the controller itself. :panic:

I like the idea of having an all in one, small package controller but with front panel cards 170 style that way its still compact and all-in-one but the individual components are still swappable. As the technology moves to smaller packages it may get more and more realistic to do something like that.
