I went there again yesterday, only to be told that it's government property. So I have to refrain from entering.

In the UK, it tends to be the main companies (Siemens, PEEK and Telent-TSEU) who deal with the disposal of used equipment during refurbishment, so it can be worth speaking with contractors as well as the Local Authorities. Is it the same over in Aus?
