1st off I'd like to say you are using the right tools, HILTI. 2nd off you let the tool do the work and HILTI allows you to do that. 3rd, HILTI rules.

I also agree with the rest, Sweet light.

Sometime back in the 70's, a guy driving a Hilti truck saw us struggling with a big Milwaukee hammer drill as we were mounting a fixture on a concrete pole. Seeing a golden opportunity, he stopped to loan us a Hilti. It weighed half of what the Milwaukee weighed, yet drilled twice as fast with half the effort. We quickly became fans of Hilti tools and fasteners.

The pole mount was an option. Here's the detail of a scan from a 1929 GE Catalog.

Thanks Ed. :good: I hadn't seen that style before. Love the way it looks! There was treasure hidden in that concrete!

:hello:

A certain member here has a post mount in their collection, but I'll let them expose themselves if they so choose. (it's not like they haven't exposed themselves, in public, before... :hurl: )

I forgot to mention what a nice sig it appears to be and how surprising that the metal is in such good shape for being encased in caustic concrete for so long.
