Reducing 1 1/2 pipe for 1 1/4 Art Deco's

Postby ALB6254 on Thu Nov 27, 2008 11:08 am

Hi guys,
I recently got a 2 way slip fitter style bracket that has pipes which are 1 1/2. The lights that will be on this are Art Deco's which have the 1 1/4 mounting holes. Would reducers work to make this hardware work for these signals?

Thanks

Hey Joe

You can use a 1-1/2" to 1-1/4" rigid couduit reducer bushing they will reduce the thread size of the slipfitter from 1-1/2" to 1-1/4" and you can't tell the are being used! The local electrical supply houses carry them, I got mine at Latham Electric
