Back to the topic, I'll have to start searching these out on eBay. Thanks for posting this Ed, no clue they existed.

I'll help bring it back to topic :crazy:

Here's what I have (highway and subway):

Top Left: NYC Subway Token 1953-1970
Bottom Left: NYC Subway Token 1970-1980
Top Right: NYC Subway Token 1979-1980 (Diamond Jubilee 75th Anniversary)
Bottom Right: NYC Subway Token 1980-1985

Top Left: NYC Subway Token 1986-1995
Bottom Left: NYC Subway Token 1995-2003 (Metro Card then replaced tokens)
Top Right: Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority Token (MTA Bridges and Tunnels)
Bottom Right: NY State Thruway Commemorative Token (Same as Ed T.)

Here are two different versions of the NY State Thruway Commemorative Token:

That's interesting. I had assumed these things were all printed out by the same entity in a short time span. Multiple versions certainly suggests otherwise... :scratch:

Both versions say "SOUVENIRS INC. N.Y.C." in really small print on the back.
Maybe this means they were printed by the same entity :scratch:

Geez, you were able to read that eye-test on the back? I almost went :blind:

trying to read that myself. :lol:

My PA TPK one doesn't have that though.

I'm sure they were made by the same company, but the multiple version part is what makes me curious as to just how long they were in production.
