Hi All
I'm Jonny and I'm a new member on this forum. I'm from England, United Kingdom. I've been interested in road traffic signals from a young age. Ever since my first trip to the United States and Canada, I've been fascinated by the many different designs and installations compared to that in the UK. In the UK, it was only until recently that the Government had allowed different designs from the standard Mellor design since the 1960's.

Another new member just joined from Essex, actually. I was over there - northern Wales - just over a year ago, and, scarily, I got one picture of a signal, and that's it - as they were all identical.

It's actually quite interesting to note how many people in the UK appear to have a similar interest. When I first got onto the internet (here and over at SABRE - well worth checking out) about 10 or so years ago, there were only a handful of people who seemed to have this interest! Of course, as with many of us here, I did think I was the only one
