At Last ....ADLERS!!!

Finally completed a set of these. The green one is a mother to track down. :grin: Were these strictly after market lenses used in any 8" signal or did a certain manufacturer use them?

Great find! I don't know much about them, but did the ribbed design help much against sun phantom lighting?

I'd probably feel as excited as you are to have this complete set in your possession. Congratulations on the acquisition.

Though my knowledge about these is limited, wasn't the design of the lenses themselves (the vertical lines) also used for railroad lenses?

Adlers are hands down my favorite lenses, more than command lenses, arrows, smileys, etc. Congrats!

I thought the lines were to help people who are colour-blind. When aligned properly in the signal, each line is one a different angle for each colour.
