Is the "Green" lens a replacement? :scratch:

The Green/White lens was way to prevent "sunfantom" in behind the lens.

I think this signal had first Red, Yellow and White lenses and later got it Green glas behint the white lense

The idea behind that is to keep sun flare from faking a green light.

Yeah. As the red and amber indications mean stop, any impact of sun phantom will be safe and only cause problems with the performance output of the junction because someone thinks the lights are still red ;) .

That housing seems incredibly similar to the Tin lantern housings, especially when you look inside, however the end caps, doors and everything else a totally different.

I like the square doors, how common were they?
