I was looking at the pic picking it apart peice by peice and would have never guessed the lens. That's a clean signal ya got on your hands there Of course I wouldn't concider myself a seasoned collector either.
Does the German glass have any markings on it? I know what the GE spiders look like but does the German glass have markings on the back rim

There are no marking's on the rim, and they are just a bit smaller diameter than the GE lens. A trained eye could and did notice the difference. Along with a slightly different spiderweb pattern, the obvious difference is the missing GE logo on the front of the lens. I didn't show the front of the lens, that would have been a dead giveaway. I also noticed that the red lens is quite a bit lighter in color compared to the cracked original that I have. The face of the lens has...OBEN/TOP on it, that is the only marking on the lens.

I put the original red lens back into the signal after it was glued back together. It is very hard to tell where the crack is because of the spiderweb design. Even with the crack, it looks much better than the German imitation.

Still looking for an original red and green lens for this signal. I still have the green Jefferson lens from a Master Signal that I would like to trade.

Got the Novalux off the workbench and mounted on the wall, this is most likely not it's permanent home, but it will do for now. I used the new hardware that I won in the raffle at OSM, thanks again Phil!! Here's some pic's of the old girl back in service.

I found a GE spearhead finial for this light. After it goes to the powder coater, (to match the signal) and the signal is mounted on a post, it should look pretty sharp.

I am the lucky recipient of a Hooter's calendar every Christmas...

This is the donor signal of the finial, it's safe and sound at my parents home. I won't be able to get it till late November during our Thanksgiving visit to KC.
