I like the darker greens also. The GE beacon I'm working on was original gloss dark hunter green. I had CarQuest to computer match the paint so it will be painted back as original as possible!
Different strokes for different folkes, but I always like original when possible. :2Cool:
I need all the help I can get.. :blind:

You know, i recently painted a switch cover with rattle can Rustoleum Hunter Green and mounted it next to a set of decos I sprayed with Ace Hunter Green. I have to say, I like the color of the Rustoleum better as it is a shade or two darker.

The Autoflow looks great. Nice job.

I used brass acorn nuts to dress up my Sargent and Sowell a bit. I also replaced the aluminum rods. The nuts and rods wouldn't separate, even with lots of heat and PB Blaster. My S&S beacon is in my living room on top of my entertainment center and the brass "extras" add detail which would go unnoticed had I just painted some plain replacement nuts.

What's with all the quotes in everyone's signatures?

I went with the full size picture because I was having trouble using thumbnail pics. When you clicked on the thumbnail the full size picture would open, but it was also giving access to my entire library of pictures..not good! I'm going back and try to solve this problem. If I can solve that I will post it. If you know the procedure tell me please! I am using the old version of Photobucket. :blind: :tease:

Here's what I did. I went to www.resizeyourimage.com, followed the directions, saved the resized photo in my Photobucket account, then followed the posting directions for the club website. It had to be comparatively easy because I'm pretty useless with computers. If I can do it, anyone can! (In fairness, I had to blunder through the process a bit before success, but I was motivated.)
