That's totally understandable from your perspective, Ed. I guess all good things must end sooner or later.
I have some comments that I'd like to mention here.
Though I have not been a member of the signal community for a long period of time (three years to be exact), I have learned interesting information about signals, signal controllers, etc., in which has given me a different view of signals today, since I possess a clearer understanding behind them. With that said, I appreciate the contribution of knowledge that has been provided by many members in numerous threads. Furthermore, I've also expanded my interest in signals since I first became a member here, and certain acquisitions throughout these last two years were originally thought as impossible to me. Rather a fantasy to be honest. Though the enthusiasm and encouragement I have seen amongst many members here made me search for certain desirable items with determination and patience (e.g., four-way Ruleta). I also would like to say that I am happy I contributed my enthusiasm in signals, not to mention signal equipment and street signs (mainly vintage) from New York City here on the forums, since I have always been greatly fond of what I grew up around (even what existed before my time). I'm sure some of you are aware of this. Before I came here, the interest was only between myself and my parents. None of my friends were interested, so what was the point to even start a conversation? I am glad that I have met some members here (including talking face to face) that share very similar interests to what I have (like Randy T., the late Jesse V., and Francis K.).
All in all, thank you, Ed, for my entry in this great place known as SignalTrafficForums three years ago. I met many people here, not to mention some in person. And I would like to meet others in person down the road.
