Fiber Optics vs 3M

Postby coyttl on Sun Jul 21, 2013 7:54 pm

So over the last week, after work, I was working on the fiber optic ped insert I got from Phil's. I needed a housing, so I took a DC Durasig Ped housing apart (from two heads into one) and had to sand down some corners, cleaned up the signal and assembled it with care. It looks rather nice, I admit, in the shiny black housing. I connected it up to my 3M temporarily, to see how it looked, and I must say, it's slick..

I'm really happy how the small work I did on the fiber optic one made it look. I'll get a better (non-exposure compensating) video of the two together.

(And the 3M, I've had hooked up for the last three weeks, just to watch it cycle. It's oddly relaxing watching it cycle.)

Both are awesome!...so is that cabinet tucked off to the side!!

I just switched my stuff over from fully actuated to minimum times on (almost) everything. Got tired of having to move around to make my stuff cycle
