Those extra mounts were sent with the the bell and plate. The guy I bought these items from must have thought these were the sign mounts but are actually for the light arms.

Yes, the bell mounts on the top of the pole.

The access plate fit perfectly...

Here is a shaky video from my cell phone of the light and bell in operation.

Hi Mark,

Don't know about the dinner bell, but we are thinking of running a wire out to the control box from our door bell button for the RR bell. We have a 12 volt DC splitter that can operate four separate devices using a remote fob. This is inline for the RR lights and RR bell. If I can figure what frequency is used for one of the legs on the splitter, may go that route with a battery operated button by the front door.

Cheers!

That sounds like a unique way to get to know your neighbors.

Hi Vaughn,

Neighbor on one side is already use to us doing things that annoy them. Think they have realized over the last couple of years we do some things on purpose for our entertainment. We have a new neighbor on the otherside that has not moved in yet. Her dad has been around to help her with renovating her house and he thinks the back yard is cool. Figure she will get use to us too.... :tease:

Cheers!

This is so COOL! All you need now is a caboose setting in your back yard! :rotfl:
