Nottingham:

The pushbutton has a LED that latches during the No Crossing stage if the button is pressed.

These are Page brand signals:

I like how so many signs are backlit:

Back in Towcester, signals like posted in 2011.

These peds are on offset poles because it's a very tight and narrow intersection with a lot of lorry traffic.

More ped buttons and low signs. One was in a white housing while all the others are yellow. Seems to be a couple eras of buttons and signs in town.

Two different styles of signals, same intersection.

Some interesting ped crossing beacons down at the Waitrose.

And some belisha beacons. Shielded because of the townhouses nearby.

Thought Randy would appreciate this wiring job...

Enjoyed your pictures! The nearside mini ped signals they have for the short crossings are interesting

That style of crossing, using nearside indicators is a PUFFIN - Pedestrian User Friendly INtelligent crossing.

There's detection to monitor pedestrians both waiting and crossing, and adjusts the vehicular phases accordingly.

They're still coined as 'new' here in the UK, despite the fact they were originally installed about 15 years ago. I believe Iceland and New Zealand both have Puffin sites now too - see here.

It's certainly very neat and ordered. Looks as though there are some terrifically long spans on those service wires too!
