After it goes into flash because of the conflict, when you push reset, you get all red and then main street green and on and on.

When it goes to main street green, it sounds like a relay clicks and then again when main street turns yellow. After that, it is silent until main street green comes around again.

Here is the video I shot of the controller working that is from my thread about the Singer 4 way and this controller.

Proof reading your posts and punctuation would make it a lot easier to figure out what you are trying to say here.

OK, I have finally gotten back to messing with my Teeco. It appears that my initial problem of intermittently running and not running was caused by a ground wire that came loose when the controller was removed from serivice. The wire slipped up behind the back panel and made sporadic contact with the controller body. I reconnected the ground wire to the cabinet and now it has not given me any further problems.

Right now, I have the controller hooked up to 2 lights, an Eaglelux single face, and my fixed 3-way Eagle in my den. For now, I will only discuss the hook ups to the Eagle 3-way to avoid confusing anyone. The G1/Y1/R1 are wired to the front of my 3-way. The G2/Y2/R2 are wired to the sides of my 3-way. My Teeco is cycling, but the R1 indication is not working. I put a voltmeter across the R1 and SC terminals in the controller when R1 should be lit and I get nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this? Flash mode works, but they way mine is hooked up, the Y1 indication is the one that flashes, not the R1.

Jerry, my controller makes the same noises that your controller makes when my G2 and Y2 are energized. Otherwise, my controller is also silent like yours. Additionally, my controller does exactly the same thing as yours does in your video when I put it in and out of flash mode.

It does have some sort of conflict monitor that puts the signal into flash if conflicting greens are detected.

VEW-W-W-Y INTEWESTING!! :good:

Did the "reset" button then function (as labeled?) to resume the cycle??

and yours, Jerry, is the presumably older model, without those extra green and blue wires appearing on its terminal block...??

/me paging Magnetboy... John..., what's yours do?? :beg:

Spoiler:
OH, how I SO LOVE "obsolete technology"...I want one of these things, too!!!! :dizzy: :2Cool:

I didn't go through all the trouble that Jerry went through to get mine to display conflicting greens. I just took a short piece of solid copper wire and bent it in a "U" shape and touched it to both the G1 and G2 terminals in the controller while it was running. The controller immediately tripped into flash mode. I then pushed the reset button and she was back to normal cycling again.

It is a 12 pin connector on mine. I count 9 wires, but it is hard to count accurately since they are bundled together. I saw 2 reds, 2 yellows, 2 greens, 2 whites and a black.

Judging only by what I can see, I agree with Jerry's wire count and number of each color wire. I have not cut the wire ties to be absolutely certain though. I will cut them and recount if you think I should. Phil, the connector has 12 pins.

Doesn't anyone have any input as to why my R1 isn't working? Can anyone help me with troubleshooting the problem?

It sounds like a relay in you controller unit is not working or making good contact.
Well what do you know. If I put my name here, I do not have to sign it everytime.

Thanks Phil. I suppose I will have to open up the controller and see what is inside? I will take a few photos and hopefully you can guide me through how to test the relays. :beg: :hello:
