A question for the timing of...

Postby uccsa1 on Fri Dec 14, 2012 9:41 am

I am trying to simulate the proper timing for my CH art deco single sided light. I want the G,Y,R-R&Y then green timing sequence to be right. My question is how long should the red stand alone before the yellow comes on simultaneously? Is there a significant lull of just red then the yellow comes on or does the yellow pop on after about 2 seconds with the red then to just green? Any understand what I am doing? Any help would be appreciated. :Wink2:

The timing could be whatever you make it. There was no rule of how things were timed back then. Since you dont have a side street light to base it off of. The red would of stayed on as long as the green on the side street. One way they wired them up years ago was all the yellows were wired together. Main green and side red were wired together and main red and side green were wired together. you could make the green and red 15 seconds each with a yellow over lap of 3 seconds
