[Figured I'd hook up my peds and video them, so that I at least had record of them working.

Here you go, if you're really bored.

Econolite Exposed-Tube Neon Ped:

ElectroTech fiber Optic Ped Insert. Don't have this one in a head yet:

Both are on 10 sec Walk, and 7 sec Ped Clear.

Thanks. I should probably get my good camera out and shoot them all together, on the good camer so that it doesn't try to auto-correct brightness. :rotfl:

This is a ICC ped housing with a dial light countdown

This is a econolite 9 inch

This is a 12 inch LFE housing with a fiber optic man/hand. ( the hand I put in a LED bulb)

And last is a Mark IV housing with a worded fiber optic (both bulbs are incandescent)

Nice1 i thought about putting LED lights in my fiber-optic, but I'm kinda partial to the loooong burn down of those lights. :)

I agree I like the burn down too but since I leave them on all the time I was thinking about saving some money. I ordered 6 led bulbs from china off of ebay for 3 dollars a bulb for that fiber optic no left turn sign. Right now they have 50 watts x 6 to = 300 watts. the bulbs I ordered are only 3 watts for a total of 18 watts. Big difference

Do the LED bulbs fit in the holders okay? (The locally-sold LED bulbs have wrong shape to be held by those wire clips.)
