I was originally going to post how I'm annoyed that Firefox and Safari weren't letting the chat box work on the main page (I use ghostery+ad block plus), but after checking my whitelist settings, I then decided to see if my normal routine to click for the box in a window would work. Sure enough it did. Now the question remains, who borked the chat box on the main page?

It went away with the last forum software update. It's still located here but not as active since no one can find it.

And the VIEW ACTIVE TOPICS function, and the smilies, and there was something else, wasn't there?

NO OFFENSE INTENDED to Ed and the gang of Mods that keep this place running, BTW -- I'm certain y'all are doing the best 'ya can with it all, as always!! :grin:

and for the record, I'm particularly hostile towards "smart phones" at the moment, having spent ~6hrs today in the back seat of the boss' Lexus trying to nap, all the while being continually disturbed by the occasional sound of the rumble-strips alongside the highway every so often, whenever he and my other coworker in front got to playing with their damned phones instead of paying attention to...oh, maybe..., DRIVING THE CAR@80MPH...??? :nono:
